Jordan Telecommunications Group- Orange Jordan was first founded in 1996, with the aim of building the telecommunication and information technology sector in the Kingdom. In 2000, the company was privatized to become a subsidiary of the global telecom giant Orange, which operates in 26 countries around the world, and in key markets such as France, Spain, Belgium, Poland, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Senegal. In 2007, the fixed line, mobile, and Internet subsidiaries merged into one company which was rebranded to Orange.
 
Today, Orange Jordan is the leading operator of integrated communications services in the Kingdom with a broad lineup of fixed, mobile, Internet and data services to meet personal and business needs of an expanding residential and business base of about 3.2 million customers across Jordan.

Orange Jordan is the only provider in the Kingdom to offer the latest New- Generation Networks (NGNs), which include LTE-Advanced Pro (4.5G and 4G+). The company also remained the first in Fiber-To-The Home (FTTH) subscriptions covering more than 500,000 home passes, as it was the first to introduce 1,000 Mbps fiber speeds.
 
In its constant effort to cater to the diverse needs and interests of Jordanian homes, Orange Jordan introduced smart life solutions to ensure for customers the safety of their loved ones at all times and to help them in reducing energy consumption.
