In 2008 the company launched the Orange Labs, a research and development center dedicatedto providing unique solutions to Orange affiliates in more than 27 countries, and in the year 2010, it was recognized as the first operator in the Kingdom to introduce 3G+ connectivity.

In 2011, it also introduced the most comprehensive customer service initiative in Jordan’s Telecom history to date, the “EMTIYAZ”, or “Excellence” program, and Orange Money, which streamlines invoice processing for customers without the need for Internet connectivity.

In 2013 it introduced VDSL and FTTH connectivity for the first time in Jordan, thus providing Internet speeds up to 80mb/s and 100mb/s respectively.

Keeping in line with His Majesty King Abdullah II’s vision, the group’s prime objective has always been to help transform the Kingdom into a leading regional ICT hub.
